Supplier Development Intern – Full Time Paid Internship Leading to Employment OpportunityThe candidate will join the global Business Development Team, as a Supplier Development Trainee reporting directly to the Supplier Development Manager. With possibility to be offered full time employment after a 3-6 month paid internship. This position is involved with cross functional teams on a regular basis (Product and IT teams), so it requires being a constructive team member. FUNCTIONS (NOT LIMITED TO): Outward tasks:• Development: search and identify business opportunities• Service: qualify Suppliers; ensure the good implementation of the procedure• Commercial: manage and negotiate the contract with Suppliers, • Relationship: communicate with Suppliers, and constantly improve the cooperation with SuppliersInward tasks: • Maintain market surveillance• Draft documents and informative material • Develop strategies to improve supply chain performanceBASIC REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s Degree in business, communication, tourism, international relations, marketing or the like • Ability to use critical and analytical thinking • High organizational skills • Demonstrate successful people & negotiation skills• Must be enterprising, proactive and creative• Outgoing personality• Interest in the tourism industry, dedication and hard work• Excellent oral and written English.
