Job Title: Tailor / Seamstress & Customer Service Assistant

Location: Twelve Tailoring – 5900 Rivers Avenue, Unit Z, North Charleston, SC

Twelve Tailoring is a high-energy tailoring shop with a passion for craftsmanship and customer care. We’re currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Tailor/Seamstress & Customer Service Assistant to join our 3-person team. Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist clients (front-of-house responsibilities)
• Manage appointment scheduling, phone calls, and customer inquiries
• Take accurate body measurements and conduct basic fittings
• Assist with bridal fittings and more complex garment alterations
• Operate sewing equipment and maintain a clean, organized workspace

Qualifications:

• Experience with sewing and garment construction (home, academic, or professional)
• Proficiency with sewing machines (industrial machine experience preferred)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer literacy
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs consistently

Bonus:

Prior professional tailoring experience is a plus, but not required . We’re happy to train the right person who has a genuine interest in sewing and a positive, service-minded attitude.
