Job Title: Technical Writer
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our documentation team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality technical content that clearly communicates complex information to a wide range of audiences. You'll play a key role in enhancing the user experience through precise, accessible documentation and work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of technical documentation.
Update existing content to reflect new features, enhancements, and platform changes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Product Management, to gather and verify technical information.
Work closely with other writers to maintain consistency in style, tone, and presentation across documentation.
Write clear, concise, and user-focused technical content free of jargon.
Take ownership of the documentation experience and proactively identify areas for improvement.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer.
Exceptional English writing and editing skills.
Proven experience documenting public cloud products or related technologies.
Proficiency with Oxygen XML Author or similar tools for creating content in DITA.
Experience managing documentation using Git and GitHub.
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong understanding of developer tools, APIs, or cloud platforms.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
