Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively. This role involves creating, editing, and proofreading technical documentation that supports our products and services. The Technical Writer will collaborate with various teams to gather information and ensure that all materials are accurate, comprehensive, and user-friendly.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, guides, and online help systems.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand the products and services being documented.
  • Utilize tools such as Visio for creating diagrams and flowcharts that enhance documentation clarity.
  • Edit and proofread documents for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather necessary information and clarify technical concepts.
  • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date with the latest product releases and updates.
  • Communicate effectively with team members across various departments to gather insights and feedback on documentation needs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in technical writing or a related field.
  • Proficiency in word processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word) for document creation and formatting.
  • Strong research skills to gather complex information from multiple sources.
  • Excellent proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality documentation.
  • Ability to edit content for clarity, conciseness, and coherence while maintaining technical accuracy.
  • Familiarity with technical writing principles and best practices is essential.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and convey complex ideas clearly.
  • Experience with SAP
  • Experience with technical writing
  • Experience with maintenance or production systems
  • Work at Mining site 4 days of 10 hours, Monday-Thursday. No work from home is allowed for this position.
