Job Summary

The JSF Coating Vacuum Chamber Operator is responsible for executing precision coating processes using the S7 vacuum chamber in support of aerospace manufacturing. This position requires strict adherence to process specifications, quality standards, and clean room protocols. The operator will also support secondary coating operations as needed to maintain production flow and ensure product integrity.

📍 Location: Garden Grove, CA

💵 Pay Rate: $21.94/hour

🕑 Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)

🏢 Department: Manufacturing / Coating Operations

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate the S7 vacuum chamber in accordance with established process specifications and work instructions
• Load and unload production units with care and accuracy
• Execute chamber programs and monitor system performance throughout the cycle
• Collect and record operational data for traceability and quality assurance
• Inspect chambered units to verify compliance with dimensional and process tolerances
• Maintain accurate chamber logs and documentation in alignment with regulatory and internal standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production schedules and resolve process issues

Secondary Responsibilities

• Prepare tubing and pressure pots for coating operations
• Apply flow coats and perform visual inspections of coated units
• Maintain clean room standards and ensure compliance with FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention protocols
• Assist in general coating operations as required to support production needs

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to interpret and follow detailed work instructions and technical specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
• Basic proficiency in computer-based data entry and documentation
• Physical ability to safely handle and move production units
• Willingness to work in a clean room environment and comply with contamination control procedures
• US Person per US DOD & ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience operating vacuum chambers or coating equipment in a manufacturing setting
• Familiarity with aerospace production standards and inspection protocols
• Understanding of clean room operations and FOD prevention practices
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate production records
• Demonstrated flexibility and teamwork in a fast-paced production environment
