Loudoun United FC is seeking a talented and creative Videographer to capture, produce, and distribute compelling visual content that showcases our club's brand, players, and community impact. This role combines sports videography expertise with digital content creation to support our marketing, fan engagement, and player development initiatives across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities Match Day Coverage - Film all Loudoun United home and away matches with multiple camera angles for tactical analysis and promotional content
- Capture pre-match warm-ups, player arrivals, and post-match celebrations
- Create match highlights packages for social media and broadcast distribution within 2 hours of final whistle
- Coordinate with USL Championship broadcast requirements and provide technical support for live streaming
- Document fan experiences, crowd reactions, and stadium atmosphere for promotional use
Training and Behind-the-Scenes Content - Film daily training sessions for tactical analysis and player development review
- Create behind-the-scenes content showcasing player personalities, team culture, and facility operations
- Produce player profile videos, interview segments, and feature stories
- Document club events, community outreach activities, and youth program initiatives
- Capture facility tours, staff introductions, and organizational milestone moments
Content Production and Post-Production - Edit raw footage into polished content optimized for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter)
- Create engaging short-form content including player highlights, skill compilations, and team moments
- Develop graphic overlays, lower thirds, and branded elements consistent with club identity
- Produce longer-form documentary content for special occasions and season reviews
- Maintain organized digital asset library with proper file naming and storage protocols
Live Streaming and Broadcast Support - Operate live streaming equipment for matches, press conferences, and special events
- Coordinate multi-camera productions for high-profile matches and events
- Provide technical support for broadcast partners and media coverage
- Manage audio recording for interviews, press conferences, and ambient stadium sound
- Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain broadcast quality standards
Social Media and Digital Content - Create platform-specific content tailored to audience preferences and engagement trends
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop content calendars and promotional campaigns
- Produce Instagram Stories, Reels, and videos showcasing daily club activities
- Create content for player social media accounts and personal branding initiatives
- Monitor content performance metrics and adjust production strategies accordingly
Required Qualifications Technical Expertise - Minimum 3 years professional videography experience, preferably in sports environment
- Proficiency in professional video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
- Experience with motion graphics and animation software (After Effects, Photoshop)
- Knowledge of live streaming platforms and broadcast equipment operation
Equipment And Software Skills - Expertise with professional camera equipment (DSLR, mirrorless, camcorders)
- Understanding of audio recording equipment and sound design principles
- Experience with drone operation and aerial cinematography (Part 107 certification preferred)
- Knowledge of lighting techniques for indoor and outdoor environments
- Familiarity with content management systems and cloud storage solutions
Sports Industry Knowledge - Understanding of soccer rules, tactics, and player positions
- Experience creating sports highlight packages and tactical analysis content
- Knowledge of social media trends and platform-specific content optimization
- Familiarity with sports broadcasting standards and production workflows
- Understanding of athlete privacy requirements and media guidelines
Preferred Qualifications - Previous experience with professional soccer or USL Championship
- Multilingual capabilities (Spanish preferred for player interviews)
- Photography skills for still image content creation
- Experience with 360-degree cameras and virtual reality content
- Knowledge of SEO principles for video content optimization
- Graphic design skills for creating thumbnails and promotional materials

Working Conditions Schedule : Full-time position with flexible hours including match days, training sessions, and special events. Travel required.
