Weekend Nanny – Greenwich Village – New York City (Live-Out) 

Location:Greenwich Village, NYC 
Schedule:Saturday 7am-9pm and Sunday 7am-9pm (If the nanny would like more hours, the family would love help Monday-Friday 5pm-9pm)
Compensation:$40 per hour- for the nanny who meets ALL requirements 

A warm, mindful family in Greenwich Villageis seeking an experienced, nurturing Nannyto care for their infant son, who will be around 4 months old at the start of the role.  The position is LIVE OUT during the months of September-May. The Summer months the family is in East Hampton, NY. On weekends in the Summer, the nanny can live in with the family in East Hampton, NY
This is a wonderful opportunity for a dedicated, calm, and flexible nanny to join a loving family. Must be comfortbale working alongside mom.

 Responsibilities

• Provide loving, developmentally supportive care for an infant and mom
• Maintain consistent routines (feeding, naps, diapering, sensory play, walks)
• Support household organization, general tidiness, light cooking
• Assist with light family-related tasks (emptying dishwasher, laundry, tidying shared spaces, helping keep the home running smoothly)
• Willing to walk family dog if needed, light grocery shop and keep inventory of household basics 

 The Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 10 years of nanny experience, particularly with infants and long-term roles
• Calm, emotionally intuitive, and mindful—someone who brings a peaceful energy to the home
• Willing to be an active household helper—not just with childcare, but with light, day-to-day support around the home
• Observant and able to “read the room,” knowing when to step in and when to give space
• Enjoys being part of a family and values clear, respectful communication

 

 

 Requirements

• Long-term experience with infants, growing families and excellent references
• Strong English communication skills
• Comfortable with light household assistance and working as part of a team
• Subject to background checks
