Pour into campers' spiritual lives while exploring God's beautiful creation in the Pocono Mountains and beyond. As a camp counselor and expedition guide, you have a profound impact on each camper's experience and make what we do at camp possible.
Pay is $500/week, plus room and board.
Spruce Lake's Expedition program takes camp to the next level with off-site week-long trips and rustic wilderness experiences on-site. River canoeing, mountain biking, hiking and bushcraft skills all play a role in your ministry to kids - guaranteed to give you an adventurous and unique summer! Come with some outdoor experience and the desire to keep building your skills. Your heart for ministry and comfort operating in the outdoors is the key! Our trips change from year to year, so glance through the Expeditions Tab under Youth Programs on our website or hear more about them during an interview.
Each summer we look for individuals who are responsible, fun, and have a desire to point people toward Christ! While being one of the few expedition guides, you will be working with and living in community with an amazing larger summer team who serve in other capacities at the youth campus.
