Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D part files and part detail drawings using SolidWorks.
• Develop assembly 3D models and generate comprehensive assembly drawings.
• Perform tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure design integrity and functionality.
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to engineering drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with ASME Y14.5m-2009 or Y14.5m-2018 standards.
• Review and source materials and equipment in line with company practices and procedures.
• Analyze and present findings to management, focusing on economic value and design objectives.
• Communicate effectively with estimators, Project Managers, and the operations team to support project goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the leadership team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with SolidWorks CAD
• Proficient in creating and managing 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Skilled in tolerance stack-up analysis and application of GD&T.
• Familiarity with ASME Y14.5m standards for engineering drawings.
• Experience in a fast-paced engineering and/or manufacturing environment.
• Advanced certifications in SolidWorks or GD&T are a plus.
• Knowledge of additional CAD software is advantageous.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing requirements.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and effective team player.
• Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization, as well as with vendors and clients.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate resources to meet business objectives and customer expectations.
