Duties:
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and other construction documents
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials according to specifications
- Assemble and install framing components, including walls, floors, and roofs
- Install drywall, stucco, plaster, siding, and other exterior finishes
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects
- Perform remodeling and restoration work as needed
Experience:
- Strong knowledge of framing techniques and materials
- Familiarity with drywall installation, stucco application, plastering, siding installation, and roofing
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
