We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Facility Maintenance Technician . The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and maintaining a large facility, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain all areas of the Detroit Training Center, including classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, and kitchen, Workshop Area - including frequent vacuuming
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, and replacing damaged tiles
Replace Air filters / maintain Vacuums and Filters.
Respond to maintenance requests from staff and students
Order and stock supplies
Keep records of all maintenance activities
Assist with Moving Projects throughout the facility
Communicate effectively with both management and coworkers on needs as they arise.
Removing all trash daily
Any and all projects as directed by management.

Qualifications

1-2 years of experience as a janitor or facility maintenance person
Strong cleaning and maintenance skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to lift and move heavy objects
Must be able to work on ladders
Must be able to work in all weather conditions
