Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by sanding, grinding, masking, and cleaning metal parts before painting.
• Apply paint, primers, and protective coatings using spray guns, powder coating systems, or brushes .
• Ensure even, smooth application and proper thickness per project specifications.
• Operate and maintain painting and coating equipment , including cleaning and troubleshooting.
• Mix and match paints and coatings to achieve desired color, texture, and finish .
• Follow all safety protocols, environmental guidelines, and company procedures for handling chemicals and coatings.
• Inspect painted surfaces for quality control, touch-ups, and defects before final approval.
• Work collaboratively with fabrication and assembly teams to ensure efficient production flow.
• Maintain a clean and organized painting booth and work area.
• Handle lifting, positioning, and moving of materials as needed for painting processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as an Industrial Painter, Powder Coater, or similar role .
• Knowledge of painting techniques, coating applications, and industrial finishing standards .
• Familiarity with HVLP spray guns, airless sprayers, electrostatic powder coating, and manual painting methods .
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications .
• Experience working with metal surfaces, including steel and aluminum .
• Understanding of safety procedures, hazardous material handling, and ventilation requirements .
• Physical ability to lift 25 lbs , stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Forklift certification (preferred but not required).
