Job Description
Job Summary (List Format) for Integration Performance Tester:
- Develop and formalize enterprise-level performance testing strategies for integration ecosystems
- Define performance baselines, SLAs, throughput goals, and success metrics in collaboration with technical teams
- Design and execute API performance tests (load, stress, soak, volume) to simulate peak usage scenarios
- Analyze traffic patterns and payloads to create representative test cases
- Focus on MuleSoft runtime performance, including queue behavior and throughput across APIs
- Coordinate with QA teams for end-to-end integration performance involving Salesforce and Oracle
- Utilize monitoring and observability tools (Anypoint Monitoring, Datadog, AWS Elasticsearch) to detect performance issues
- Generate detailed performance analysis reports, identify trends, and recommend improvements
- Maintain performance dashboards and automate reporting where possible
- Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and Engineering to integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Provide support for API tuning, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization
- Work in Agile environments, leveraging tools like Jira and Confluence
- Utilize Postman and JMeter for hands-on performance testing
- Apply strong understanding of API architecture, integration flows, and asynchronous transactions
- Optionally script automated tests using languages such as Groovy, JavaScript, or Python
- Preferred: Experience in large-scale environments with Salesforce, Oracle, and third-party integrations; familiarity with cloud-native or microservices architectures
