We are seeking an experienced and passionate Japanese Language Teacher with at least five years of teaching experience to join our language education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the Japanese language, experience teaching learners of various proficiency levels, and a commitment to fostering cultural understanding through language education.
Plan and deliver engaging and effective Japanese language lessons for students at beginner to advanced levels.
Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with curriculum objectives.
Integrate Japanese culture, history, and traditions into lessons to enhance learning.
Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and grading.
Support students in preparing for proficiency tests such as the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) .
Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and school events.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Japanese Language, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Japanese language instruction (in-person or online).
Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N1 level or equivalent).
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Experience using modern teaching tools and online learning platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom, or similar).
Certification in teaching Japanese as a foreign language (e.g., Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test) is preferred.
Familiarity with communicative and task-based teaching approaches.
Ability to adapt teaching materials for diverse learning styles and age groups.
Enthusiasm for cultural exchange and language learning.
Experience teaching both individual and group classes.
