**Job Title: Cable Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a motivated Cable Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for pulling cables, assisting senior technicians, and handling materials. Your expertise in utilizing hand and power tools, interpreting blueprints, and understanding structured cabling will be essential to your success. **Responsibilities** + Pull cables through pathways and terminate and test copper cables (Cat 5, Cat 6). + Assist senior technicians in various tasks. + Run and handle materials efficiently. + Utilize hand and power tools effectively. + Rack and stack equipment as needed. + Install cable trays, ladder racks, and j-hooks. + Assemble racks and ensure proper installation. + Climb ladders and work comfortably at heights. + Manage fiber optic cables and adhere to OSHA standards. + Operate scissor lifts and handle conduits. **Essential Skills** + 0-1+ years of experience in telecom/cable installation preferred. + Strong ability to pull cable through pathways. + Proficient in interpreting blueprints and project documents. + Knowledge of universal communications color codes. + Experience in terminating and testing copper cables (Cat 5, Cat 6) and pulling fiber. + OSHA / Lift Certification required. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to lift up to 75lbs. + Valid driver's license required. + Must possess and be proficient with the listed tools. **Why Work Here?** Our organization offers excellent opportunities for growth, with potential advancement to Tech III and Tech IV positions. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, and Saturday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with onsite orientation at 6:00 am on weekdays.
