Your Role as a Meat Cutter

As a Meat Cutter at Pellicano's Marketplace, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our customers receive the freshest, highest-quality cuts of meat. Your expertise will help us deliver on our promise of quality and service, all while creating a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide premier customer service, warmly greeting customers and offering expert advice.
• Skillfully cut and prepare a variety of meats using safe and efficient techniques.
• Wrap, weigh, label, and price meat products accurately.
• Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions by sharing detailed product knowledge.
• Verify and unload meat deliveries from trucks.
• Maintain, stock, and rotate products in the meat cases to ensure freshness and visual appeal.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a Meat Cutter who brings both skill and enthusiasm to the role. Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:

• Experience: A minimum of 2-5 years of professional retail meat cutting experience is required. At least 1 year of customer service experience is preferred.
• Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
• Physical Ability: Comfortable lifting and carrying products weighing 25-70 lbs. and performing repetitive activities.
• Dependability: A strong work ethic and reliability are essential.
• Flexibility: Ability to work varied hours/days, including weekends, evenings, and some holidays, as business needs dictate.
• Attention to Detail: Good vision is required for safely using cutting tools and equipment.
