Job Title: Pharmacy Manager / Pharmacist-in-Charge
Location: Galesburg, IL 61401
Salary: $70.00 - $75.00 an hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Manager / Pharmacist-in-Charge to oversee pharmacy operations at an onsite location in Galesburg, IL. This role is responsible for managing daily pharmacy workflow, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing high-quality patient care in a setting with no permanent onsite staff currently in place. The ideal candidate is a licensed Illinois Pharmacist with strong clinical judgement, operational expertise, and the ability to independently manage pharmacy functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate data entry of prescriptions and patient information.
• Fill and prepare prescriptions , including controlled medications, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Conduct final prescription verification to ensure safety, accuracy, and compliance.
• Dispense medications and provide patient counseling to ensure proper use and understanding of therapies.
• Oversee inventory management , including ordering, receiving, and handling medication stock.
• Maintain pharmacy compliance as the Pharmacist-in-Charge , adhering to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, providers, and patients regarding pharmacy-related needs.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
• Doctoral degree (PharmD).
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience in a clinical, retail, or specialty setting.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and patient safety.
• Ability to work onsite independently with minimal supervision.

Work Schedule

• Monday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Lunch Break: 12:15 PM – 12:45 PM
