Job Description Job Summary:Primary responsibilities related to the system integration, test, and early-use of high-precision tracking radar systems and associated electronic disciplines.
Job Duties:
- Support early use operations on the DARC radar system.
- Support early use training on DARC radar system.
- Performs software testing on the DARC radar system.
- Prepare test plans, procedures, and reports.
- Ensure effective communication between assigned engineers and all other participants in the integration and testing process.
- Support the development of system test solutions in accordance with project technical, schedule and cost constraints.
- Assist team in development of innovative Test Automation solutions.
- Participate in, prepare and execute comprehensive system/element level test plans and procedures.
- Support system/element level test planning and test readiness reviews.
- Document test requirements and methodologies in the requirements management system.
- Review system engineering documentation to ensure test plans and methodologies meet system needs and are accurate, comprehensive, consistent and complete.
- Reports to the system integration and test lead.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills This position requires the successful candidate to have an active Top Secret clearance, with SCI eligibilityRequired Education, Experience, & Skills:- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on satellite operations and/or missile defense operations experience (in lieu of degree) OR
Minimum of 5 years of experience with a Bachelors Degree or, 3 years with a Masters Degree or 2 Years with a PhD in a STEM field from an accredited University or College - Experience in the development of software requirement verification procedures.
- Experience generating Modeling and Simulation (M&S) scenarios.
- Experience conducting formal requirement verification test procedures.
- Experience preparing test reports.
- Experience with C++
The criteria for obtaining and holding a clearance are driven by US government requirements.
You must be a US citizen to obtain a security clearance.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Preferred Qualifications- Experience working as part of an Integration and Test team across multiple engineering disciplines
- Experience as a member of a team integrating large, complex systems comprised of diverse HW and SW elements
- Ability to support Integration and Test/Checkout (IATC) of Hardware and Software configuration items
- Ability to document and record integration activities, including plans, procedures, results, and deficiencies
- International integration and/or test experience
- Software development integration and test methodologies
- Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- CompTIA Security+ Certification
- SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner)
- Experience with large ground data processing systems integration
- Experience with radar processing algorithms or software integration
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $94728 - $161038
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
