OptumRx is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our dynamic team. Primary Responsibilities - Assist in updating underlying assumptions utilized in underwriting models
- Complete ad hoc actuarial analysis in a timely manner
- Retrieve, process, and analyze data from the pharmacy claims database to generate initial insights and summaries
- Provide validation studies on model updates and enhancements

Required Qualifications - On the Actuarial exam track, having passed 2 or more Actuarial exams
- 2+ years of experience working in a corporate environment including experience collecting, analyzing and summarizing qualitative/quantitative data
- 1+ years of experience in SQL, SAS and/or VBA
- Expertise working with formulas, calculations, charts, graphs in MS Excel
Preferred Qualification - Experience working in finance or the health care industry

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
