Job Description

Title:  Snowflake Cloud DevOps Engineer

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (3 days' on-site required)

Duration: 12+ Months

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Snowflake cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Snowflake cloud infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Formation).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  Preferred Qualifications:

• Snowflake certification.
• Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes
