Software Tester - MUOS

Our client, a leading federal defense contractor has multiple openings for Software Testers on their MUOS team in Scottsdale, AZ. As a MUOS Software Tester, you will be required to write test procedures based on written requirements to be executed down the road. There are approximately 200-250 test procedures to write.

Utilizing your expert knowledge and understanding of test engineering concepts and principles, you may have the opportunity to assist in the end to end Hands testing and integration that will happen afterwards.

The initial contract is for 3 months with the potential to extend based on job performance. This position is 100% onsite at our client's Scottsdale, AZ facility. Our client follows a 9/80 schedule, so you will be off every other Friday.

Required Skills

- Must be US Citizen due to government requirement
- Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in STEM field and 5-8 years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
- Familiarity with C++ and object-oriented programming, system processes and scripting languages
- Experience working in a Linux environment
- Outstanding communication skills for frequent contact with managers, project teams across the company and external customers and vendors
- Fluent in Excel
