We’re looking to hire a High School English Teacher for a high school based in Shenzhen. This is a full-time position starting in August 2025.ResponsibilitiesTeach English to High school students with the provided American Common Core as guide and frameworkDevelop lesson plans and instructional materials, and provide individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student Evaluate students’ academic and social growth, record appropriate records and prepare progress reports Communicate with parents Collaborate with school administrators and peer teachers Participate in curriculum and professional development sessions Assist and coordinate activities and events inside and outside of school locationUp to 25 teaching classes a week Qualifications and requirementsBachelor degree or above major in education or relevant At least 2 years teaching experience Additional Requirements: 2 or more years of classroom teaching experience in US curriculum (experience with English Language Learners preferred) Compensation packageMonthly salary based on experience and qualifications up to 28,000 RMBHousing allowance 4500RMB Airfare Reimbursement: Airfare to China and return flight covered by the school Contract Completion Bonus of approx. 12,000 RMB Health and life InsurancePaid Vacation Professional Development: Ongoing professional development provided, including annual teacher in-service, and frequent professional development opportunities and soft learning Teachers enjoy career advancement opportunities within the KL network Holidays: We observe local national holidays and some US holidays
